Located in Watson, Louisiana, Red Line Retrievers is a small family-owned dog kennel specializing in obedience and retriever training. We service clients in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans surrounding areas. Our goal is to help your dog live up to its fullest potential.

IS OUR HISTORY
A seasoned hunter and dog enthusiast, Trent’s passion for exploring Louisiana wildlife with a dog started young - as he grew up hunting the rice fields of Gueydan with his dad and grandfather. As Trent’s grandfather “Tibby” trained retrievers and ran amateur field trials, he was accustomed to hunting with dogs from an early age and completely fell in love with seeing sporting dogs in their element.
Trent continued to spend the summers with his grandfather on their property, where he was first exposed to training a hunting retriever. At the age of sixteen, Trent’s grandfather tasked him with training his first retriever “Chevy”.
After pursuing a career in public safety with the fire department, Trent decided to return to his childhood passion of the retriever world and spent three and a half years apprenticing for a well known retriever trainer in town. As his love for training returned, the happy dogs followed suit.
Red Line Retrievers was established in 2015, with the one simple goal: Make good dogs into great dogs. We believe in the well-rounded dog - one who can exemplify their talents in the field, as well as cuddle up with your children. Your dog is family - and at Red Line Retrievers, we believe they are part of our family, too.
